Bank of America's Centerpoint is just one of the many projects restoring vitality to Downtown Baltimore's Westside.
|
 |
In just a few years, the Westside will become
a dynamic, rejuvenated center for shopping, culture and
entertainment, medical facilities and education institutions,
offices and businesses. A place where cultural meets academic,
restaurant meets jazz club, office worker meets theatre
patron, and where a diverse community comes together to
live, work and socialize.
This exciting, mixed-use community is more
than a fresh version of the past, it is a new creation.
Plans for the Westside include the development of:
- A wide range of new downtown housing
- Nationally and locally renowned retail establishments
- Class A commercial space
- A premier community hospital and state-of-the-art
academic medical center
- A world-class center for the performing arts
- New transportation connections and open spaces
- The latest technology infrastructure

"What makes the revitalization of Downtown Baltimore's Westside unique and effective is the collaborative relationship between public and private stakeholders."
